⚠️ Iraq Walks a Dangerous Line: “Not in the War… But Surrounded by It”
As the Middle East burns, one country is trying to do the impossible:
Stay out of the war… while standing right in the middle of it.
🛑 Official stance: “We will not be part of this”
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry has made it clear:
Iraq is committed to staying out of the conflict
It will not allow its territory to be used for attacks
And it is working with partners to prevent escalation
Officials stressed that Iraq’s airspace, land, and borders must not become tools in a wider war.
⚠️ Reality on the ground: Already under pressure
But the situation is far more complicated.
Iraq’s Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein admitted:
Iraq is “not officially in the war”
Yet it has effectively become a “battlefield” due to ongoing strikes and regional spillover
Missile attacks, drone strikes, and militia activity are already happening inside the country.
🔥 Why Iraq is at risk
It sits between Iran, US forces, and regional allies
Armed groups inside Iraq have their own agendas
Strategic locations—like bases and oil facilities—make it a target zone
Even when Iraq says “no”… the war doesn’t always listen.
🌍 The Tightrope Strategy
Baghdad is now trying to balance:
Diplomacy with global powers
Control over internal armed factions
Protection of its sovereignty
A joint effort with the U.S. aims to ensure Iraq is not dragged deeper into the conflict
⏳ The Big Question
Can a country truly stay neutral…
when missiles are already falling nearby?
For now, Iraq is holding the line.
But in a region where conflicts spread fast—
that line is getting thinner every day.
